Amitabh Bachchan was born on 11th October 1942 at Allahabad. He proved
his dominance in the bollywood during 1970 to 1980. He is the oldest
super star of bollywood who always keeps his presence at all major
occasions of bollywood.
He is also known as angry young man of bollywood. He won three national film fare awards for best actor in which he was nominated over 39 times. Amitabh Bachchan also worked as producer, playback singer and television host. One of his greatest show on TV is Kaun Banega Crorepati.
His father Mr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a great poet one of his most popular poem is Madhushala and mother's name was Teji Bachchan who was a punjabi Sikh from faisalabad. Amitabh Bachchan was earlier known as Inquilab but later on Mr. Sumitranandan Pant advised his parents to change his name as Amitabh. His actual surname was Srivastava but later on his father changed it to Bachchan which means child like in hindi.
